Thursday night the Eldora City Council held a special meeting and voted 4-1 to authorize the mayor to sign the EMS Merger Agreement and Lease Agreement with the City of Ackley.
In other business, the Eldora City Council approved the hiring of and setting the wage for a new police officer, and approved an Electric Equipment Easement Agreement with Alliant Energy.
