Monday night the Rowan City Council met with Mitch Hansen from S&H Environmental who says his company would be interested in providing superintendent services for the waterworks department of the city.
It was decided by the Rowan council to receive two quotes from the company before any final decisions are made.
In other business, the Rowan City Council discussed ongoing drainage problems in multiple areas of the city.
The Rowan council voted to get estimates from three different businesses on what it would cost to televise the drainage tiles to find out the actual scope of the problem.
