Tuesday the Iowa Falls School Board held a special meeting and approved adding a classroom that was slated to get air conditioning in a future project to an AC project taking place now in the district.
The current AC work was funded by borrowing against the district’s future SAVE, or Secure an Advanced Vision for Education dollars, so it did not impact property taxes.
The project now underway includes the high school, middle school, and Rock Run Elementary.
The goal is to have substantial completion of the work done before students return in the fall in the Iowa Falls School District.
