A group which features two area counties discuss Summit Pipeline ruling by the IUC

Tuesday representatives from 7 Iowa Counties, including Dickinson, Emmet, Floyd, Kossuth, Shelby, Woodbury, and Wright, that constitute the parties known as “The Counties” in the Iowa Utilities Commission docket concerning Summit Carbon Solutions hazardous liquid pipeline permit met with their lead attorney Timothy Whipple via Zoom.
The representatives discussed “The Counties” response to the commission’s final decision and order approving a permit for the pipeline project.
“The Counties” reviewed the order and discussed whether to seek reconsideration of it or file for judicial review.
The counties have less than 20 days to seek reconsideration.
