Yesterday afternoon the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant along 1st Street Northeast in Hampton and later arrested 47-year-old Heather Sue Shelton of Hampton for a controlled substance violation, failing to affix a drug tax stamp, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shelton made a court appearance today and was ordered held on a 25-thousand dollar cash only bond.
