Less than 1 percent of Iowa is listed this week as being abnormally dry in the latest U-S Drought Monitor Report.

Last week, just over 12 percent of the state was abnormally dry.

The only area remaining is in portions of Clinton and Scott Counties. The rest of the state is drought free.

One year ago, the entire state had some level of drought intensity listed.
