Last night the Dumont City Council approved for the city to apply for grant funds to help pay for the purchase of additional equipment for the park including soccer nets and for Frisbee golf.
The Dumont council approved repair work for the ambulance that needs EGR valves replaced.
And the Dumont City Council was informed that the fire department next week will travel to take a look at a new tanker chassis that the department would like to purchase.
