The Iowa Falls School Board this week received updates on two projects taking place this summer, the first involves the air conditioning work.
The A/C work is progressing about as scheduled. The contractor will be close to finishing up at the high school in the next 2 weeks and the middle school soon after.
The other project involves the playground at Rock Run Elementary School. All the recent rain put the work a little behind schedule, but the hope is the playground will be ready to go for the first full week of school in August.
The Iowa Falls School Board also approved a bid from King Construction for a new transportation building that will be used to store the non-bus vehicles, and will include two indoor batting cages as well.
