Fleetwood Mac is a hit making band from the 70s.  They originally started in the late 60s as a blues band. Rotating through memebers and singers for years. It wasn’t until Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined and recorded their self titled album in 1975, that they created a signature sound.  Rumors came out in 1977 and exploded onto the charts.  Their first #1 was Dreams from that album. The album its self has spent over 1051 weeks on the UK album charts. Fleetwood Mac has since released compilation albums of their greatest hits, including Fleetwood Mac 50 Years- Don’t Stop in 2018.  Since that release, they have remained on the UK charts for a total 260 weeks.  That’s 5 Years!  Their previous Best Of was released in 2002 and was on the album charts for 364 weeks.  It seems like not only long time fans or collectors are buying and listening but new generations discovering them all the time. Continuing to prove that Fleetwood Mac’s music stands the test of time.  Their ’77 album Rumors has sold 45 million copies world wide, and is the 9th most bought album of all time.
