The Iowa Department of Transportation is accepting public comments on the proposed replacement of a bridge along Highway 3 over Eagle Creek in Wright County just west of Clarion.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2026 and will involve removal of the existing bridge, construction of a new bridge, along with new bridge approaches, guardrail, and field driveways.
Traffic will be detoured during construction. The proposed detour would follow Wright County Roads R-33, C-54, along with Highways 69 and 3.
The comment period ends Monday.
