The Unified Iowa High School Activities Federation non-contact period has begun, following the conclusion of last week’s baseball and softball state tournaments.
During this time, there are no school-sponsored activities taking place in Iowa, including athletics, music, or speech. Practices, camps, clinics, workouts, strength and conditioning, lessons, meetings, and other related activities are paused.
The non-contact period, commonly referred to as “Dead Week,” runs through Sunday, August 4.
