The new commercial terminal at the Mason City Municipal Airport is now open.
The new 23-thousand square foot facility is replacing the existing terminal that was built in the mid-1960’s.
The new facility will have expanded space for passengers, security screening, and baggage handling.
One of the new modern amenities is a passenger boarding bridge to connect the aircraft to the building.
The cost of the new terminal was about 18-million dollars.
