A 30-year-old Texas man died in a single vehicle accident last night at the intersection of Highway 65 and “J” Avenue north of Hubbard.
The Iowa State Patrol reports Pedro Daniel Limon of Eagle Pass, Texas was traveling southbound on Highway 65 about 9:55pm driving a 2007 Ford Explorer. While negotiating a curve at “J” Avenue, due to a high rate of speed, he lost control and entered the east ditch and rolled several times.
The vehicle came to rest on its top.
Limon, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
