The Iowa cattle industry will be helping to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Iowa through the annual Iowa Governor’s Charity Steer Show set for August 10th during the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.
The Iowa Governor’s Charity Steer Show has been held since 1983 and has raised over 5-point-1-million dollars for the Ronald McDonald House Charities with locations in Des Moines, Iowa City, and Sioux City.
24 steers will be shown, including Ronnie, whose exhibitor will be Lucy Wibholm of Dows.
The Iowa Governor’s Charity Steer Show will be held Saturday, August 10th beginning at 4:30pm at the Pioneer Pavilion at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.
