Here is a correction to this story from earlier this week:

The Franklin County Board of Supervisors this week voted 3-0 in approving a resolution amending a section of the county employee handbook concerning the use of workplace technology.

We originally reported the vote as 2-1, we apologize for any inconvenience.

The Franklin supervisors voted 3-0 to approve a resolution amending the county employee handbook concerning sick time. By amending the sick leave policy, the supervisors wanted to include clarification in the use of sick time and what constitutes as family illness/emergency leave.

The Franklin County Board of Supervisors also discussed a draft of an employment contract for the county engineer. The supervisors then directed the county auditor to make a few changes and then send the proposed contract to the county engineer for review.
