Sunday at 11pm, the water tower system in Sheffield will be having some very important repairs done.
In doing this, there will be no water available to the town overnight.
Water should be restored by early Monday morning.
This water will need to be tested, therefore, the City of Sheffield will be under a boil alert, starting Sunday after 11pm, until further notice.
Residents can do everything as normal but drink the water, and are being asked to consider shutting off ice makers, and to stop their softeners from regenerating.
