Saturday night Elli Blackford of Clarke County was crowned as the 2024 Iowa State Fair Queen on the Anne and Bill Riley Stage.
Blackford was chosen out of the 103 contestants who advanced from the local county competitions.
This year’s Franklin County Fair Queen, Libby Trewin of Sheffield, was given the Personality Plus Award.
Judging for the Iowa State Fair Queen competition is based on several areas including personality, attitude, awareness, and leadership.
