AGWSR has begun fall sports practices, and Activities Director Dave Showalter has expressed optimism for the new school year.

During the 2023-2024 school year, Showalter served as Co-Activities Director with Lowell Young, but is taking over the full-time position this year. That means he has stepped down as an assistant football coach, along with his previous resignation as the head baseball coach.

The first athletic event of the school year will be a volleyball quad at Grundy Center on Tuesday, August 27.
