A 33-year-old Iowa Falls man was arrested yesterday on an Eldora warrant after being released from the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Stephen Kyle Littlepage was charged with 1st degree arson and 3 counts of attempted murder from an alleged incident in Eldora on June 19th at 2002 21st Street.

According to the criminal complaint, Littlepage allegedly showed up at this location, which includes a garage and mechanic shop, and began to argue with Thomas Johnson. Littlepage was carrying a yard sprayer, and when asked to leave, he sprayed Johnson, Johnson’s son, and Randy Sizemore with an unknown liquid, along with spraying the doors separating shops, and then lit it on fire with a lighter. Littlepage was then seen on security footage pouring the liquid out of the sprayer onto Johnson’s pick up truck and poured it on himself. Littlepage is then seen on video lighting the truck on fire and then himself.

Littlepage was later released from custody. If convicted on all the charges, he could be sentenced for up to 100 years in prison.
