Franklin County Attorney Andrea Miller has released a statement regarding the Tuesday incident in Hampton where signs were placed on local businesses owned by Hispanics.
Miller says her office condemns crime of any sort, including those that are racially or politically motivated.
Miller says this matter will be thoroughly investigated and once the investigation is complete, determination of appropriate charges will be made.
This is an active and ongoing investigation, and Miller says anyone who has information regarding this act should contact the Hampton Police Department.
