Today the Franklin County Board of Supervisors received an update on the status of the proposed merger of the Public Health and Home Care departments with Franklin General Hospital.
The Franklin County Board of Health wants to have a meeting with FGH and county supervisor Dick Lukensmeyer to discuss the latest on the proposed merger.
In other business, the Franklin supervisors voted to amend the county’s policy concerning public hearings, informational meetings, and all meetings conducted by the board of supervisors. Beginning August 26th, the meetings will be available to the public in two formats. One will be to attend the meetings in person at the courthouse.
The other will be to live stream the meetings on YouTube via the Franklin County Board of Supervisors YouTube channel. All recordings of the meetings will be retained and made public for 6 months.
