This week the Allison City Council received information from Butler County EMS Coordinator Kari Coates of the essential services tax levy that will be on the ballot on November 5th.
The levy would be 14-cents per 1-thousand dollars of assessed property value for 15 years. If approved, the monies would help expand coverage for late night, early morning and weekends, purchase a 2nd vehicle, and help with education expenses.
In addition, public works employees were instructed to see if any of the churches in Allison have water meters installed. If they do not, a letter will be sent to have them install a water meter for metering purposes.
