Voters in the AGWSR School District will consider a proposed bond issue when they head to the polls on November 5th.
The district is asking for approval to issue up to $14,450,000 in General Obligation Bonds that would be used to remodel, repair, and improve the existing high school building, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and window improvements, and to build, furnish and equip new bus barns.
In addition, the funds would be used to remodel, repair, and improve the existing middle school, including tuck pointing, and for site improvements at the Wellsburg Center campus, including parking lot drainage improvements.
The issue needs 60 percent of yes votes to pass.
