This week the Hardin County Board of Supervisors debated a voluntary contribution to the Region 6 Housing Trust Fund.
A motion was made for the county to commit $20,461 for the trust fund that helps fix and restore properties if the owner meets income guidelines.
However, the motion failed on a 1-1 vote, with supervisor BJ Hoffman voting yes and supervisor Lance Granzow voting no.
Supervisor Renee McClellan was absent from the board meeting.
