The Belmond-Klemme/Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and Hampton-Dumont-CAL cross country teams will run their first meet of the year at the Webster City Invite on Tuesday.
The Hampton-Dumont-CAL girls return seniors Brooklyn Valley, Jordan Valley, and Lily Hambly who ran 23 minute times last season. The boys team is led by sophomore Conner Miller who ran a 18:24 last season.
The B-K/C-G-D girls return juniors Lila Swenson with a 23:13, Clementine Sifert had a 24:19, Kendra Huedepohl ran a 25:31 last season. The boys team returns seniors Christopher Greenfield who ran an 18:34 and Tate Jackson had a 19:59 last season.
The meet is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m. at the Links Public Golf Course in Webster City.
