Franklin Supervisors discuss comp time use for one county department

Yesterday the Franklin County Board of Supervisors met with Tanner Miller from the secondary roads department to discuss the possibility of the department being able to accumulate and use comp time.

The Franklin supervisors stated they would continue to discuss the idea.

In other business, the Franklin supervisors discussed whether or not to establish a compensation board for elected officials.

The supervisors then asked the county auditor to place the item on the agenda for September 16th for further discussion.

The Franklin County Board of Supervisors also set September 16th at 9:30am as the date and time to hold a public hearing in regards to amending the current fiscal year budget.
