A man convicted of first degree murder in Hardin County wants a new trial.
In July, a Hardin County jury convicted 30-year-old Nathan Bahr for the May 26th, 2023 death of 25-year-old Desiree Folsom of Iowa Falls.
She was found shot to death in Eldora. Bahr was arrested three days later in Gilbert, Arizona.
A hearing has been scheduled for Friday at 10am in Hardin County District Court on his request for a new trial. If the judge denies the motion, Bahr would then be sentenced to the mandatory term of life in prison without parole.
