There are a few celestial events in September.  The planet Venus will be visible in the skies but difficult to see because of it’s low on the western horizon. Visible 30 minutes after sunset, but  will disappear an hour after sunset.  On the 5th Mercury will be visible in the sky. The planet is in it’s greatest western elongation. Starting the 8th Saturn will become bright and visible to the naked eye for the next few weeks.  The 17th is a full moon, the Harvest moon or Corn moon. There will also be a partial lunar eclipse visible in Texas on the 17th.  On the 22nd we have the fall equinox marking the first official day of fall. YAY!
