Tuesday the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School Board held an open forum meeting regarding the Clarion Rec Center Project.
The Rec Center Committee presented information that outlined the vision and locations for the Rec Center.
Comments made during the meeting included the benefits of having a Rec Center in Clarion for people to use, and comments were also made about existing Rec Center’s in nearby towns and communities the same size as Clarion.
The Rec Center Committee would like to see a letter of support from the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School District that the committee could add to their documents in finalizing the next steps of location and building the facility.
There will need to be official discussion in the future if a 28-E Agreement is presented to the school board for approval.
