The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a two vehicle fatality accident which took place yesterday at 3:45pm along Hardin County Highway D-15 north of 120th Street. This would be south of Ackley.
A 2015 Ford Edge was traveling northbound on D-15, while at the same time a 2024 Isuzu NQR Truck was traveling southbound on D-15. Both vehicles struck each other head on.
Two people died in the accident. No names have been released pending notification of family members.
Numerous agencies assisted at the scene.
