The names of those involved in a fatal two-vehicle accident in Hardin County Monday have been released.
The accident took place along Hardin County Highway D-15 north of 120th Street, south of Ackley.
The Iowa State Patrol says around 3:45 p.m. Monday, a 2016 Ford Edge driven by 31-year-old Tevin Williams of Paris, Texas was traveling northbound on D-15 when it collided head-on with a 2024 Isuzu NQR Truck driven by 74-year-old Steven Kramer of Waterloo, which was traveling southbound on D-15.
Williams and Kramer were pronounced dead at the scene. The Iowa State Patrol says Williams was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation. Several agencies assisted at the scene including the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department, Hardin County Emergency Management, Hardin County Emergency Squad, Ackley Fire Department and Eldora EMS.
