Several members of the Greene Family Aquatic Center Board of Directors addressed the Greene City Council this week on various topics, one of which was a request to hire a WSI, or water safety instructor, as a lifeguard for the 2025 season.
The aquatic center board would like the city to pay for the certification plus a bonus of $150 for swimming lessons.
They are also wanting to increase returning lifeguard wages.
The Greene City Council decided that they would table these items until the annual pool report is complete.
