Monday night the Clarksville City Council continued to discuss parking along Main Street, and came to an agreement to work on an ordinance to add when vehicles are parallel parked on side streets, there must be 24 inches of spaces between vehicles within the city limits, and less than that the vehicle will be towed.
In addition, business parking would be from Monday-Friday from 6am-6pm each weekday.
In other business, the Clarksville council discussed setting a fine for not having a building permit as this has been a problem. A $50 fine was decided on, but will have to be placed in an ordinance amendment first.
