An area woman is one of two fatalities reported in a head-on collision that took place in southern Minnesota Tuesday about 11am.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident took place along U-S Highway 218 north of Lyle, Minnesota.
25-year-old Jacie Mae Weaver of Rockwell died in the crash along with an unidentified 17-year-old from Austin, Minnesota.
A 3rd person was airlifted from the scene by Mayo One.
The accident remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
