This week the Allison City Council received information from the public works department that identified 17 poles that need to be replaced for the street signs and the hardware to go with them.
The poles and hardware were quoted from Prison Industries at $54 a pole, and at $15 per hardware set.
The Allison City Council approved to order 22 new poles and 15 hardware sets to have on hand for a grand total of $1,413.
