Thursday the Hardin County Board of Supervisors held a special meeting and voted to transfer the zoning duties to the county engineer’s office on an interim basis.
This after the supervisors accepted the resignation of county zoning administrator and sanitarian Jessica Sheridan on Wednesday.
In addition, the Hardin County Board of Health meets on October 10th, and will work on a plan to hire or contract out for the sanitarian position.
