Yesterday afternoon about 2:20 the Geneva Fire Department was called out on the report of a soybean field on fire around the intersection of 95th Street and Yarrow Avenue southeast of Geneva. No injuries reported.
Fire departments from Hansell, Aplington, and Bradford assisted at the scene along with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and FGH Ambulance.
Firefighters were on the scene for about 2 hours.
