The Belmond-Klemme volleyball team has won five of their last six matches and gears up for a Top of Iowa cross-conference match at home against Nashua-Plainfield on Monday. This will be the first ever meeting between the programs in the Bound Era.
B-K (15-7, 5-2 TIC-West) last match was 3-0 win at home over West Hancock in a Top of Iowa West play on October 1st. When given opportunities to score the Broncos have not wasted it with a .163 kill efficiency (3rd in TIC-West). Senior leaders helping propel the Broncos front line has been Adasyn Lamb with 257 kills (most in TIC-West) and Shaylee Aguilera with 491 assists (leads TIC-West).
Nashua-Plainfield (6-9, 2-4 TIC-East) won 3-0 over North Butler in their last Top of Iowa East match on September 24th. Junior Kami Hanneman facilitates the Huskies offense with 255 assists (fourth most in TIC-East). Their top attacker is senior Paige Franzen with 79 kills.
