Last night about 9 o’clock the Alden Fire Department was called out on the report of a shed on fire at 13-284 Hardin Road northwest of the city. No injuries reported.
The Alden department requested assistance from the Iowa Falls, Buckeye, and Williams Fire Departments.
The shed, which had hay bales, a few pigs, and garden tools inside is considered to be a complete loss.
Then the Alden Fire Department was called back out around 7am today as the fire flared up again.
The cause is under investigation.
