Last night the Dumont City Council approved for letters to be sent out concerning tree trimming across the city.
Trees must be trimmed at least 15 feet above a street in Dumont, and must be trimmed at least 8 feet above a sidewalk in the city.
In other business, the Dumont City Council received an update on grant applications, including one that the city submitted to be considered for a Barkema Trust grant.
