How cute are these Apothecary bottles? You can usually find glass bottles pretty cheap at yard sales and second hand stores. I have my kitchen lined with these bottles I created labels for. I picked up some calligraphy markers at the dollar store and practiced my alphabet. Then decided what kind of “potions” I wanted to make. Things like Frog’s Breath and Deadly Nightshade were from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas while Hemlock and Cyanide are just natural poisons. I also have Oleander and Arsenic. I used marker on paper then used a small spray bottle with alcohol ink to spritz the paper and stamping ink to create distressing and then cut them out using shaped crafting scissors. I applied them to the bottle using double sided paprt craft tape or craft glue(very thin layer). So easy, fun, and inexpensive.
