In somewhat of a return to their familiar form, the #4 (2A) Dike-New Hartford volleyball team earned three sweeps at Tuesday’s quad at Union. The Wolverines were dominant, bouncing back from last week’s conference tournament losses and a 4-2 outing Saturday at Cedar Rapids Jefferson.
In the opener, the Wolverines defeated #15 (3A) Nevada 25-18, 25-16.
In their second match, DNH earned their most lopsided win of the night, 25-16, 25-15 over Waverly-Shell Rock.
In a rematch of last week’s 2-1 home loss to Union in the conference tournament consolation bracket, DNH defeated the Knights on their home court, 25-10, 25-15.
Dike-New Hartford (23-15) will return to action Thursday at a quad hosted by #13 (2A) Wapsie Valley, which will also include #12 (2A) Sumner-Fredericksburg and New Hampton.
