A 38-year-old Iowa Falls woman who allegedly took over 20-thousand dollars while working at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls was arrested Tuesday.
Renee Elizabeth Simmons was wanted on the charges of ongoing criminal conduct-unlawful activity, and for first degree theft.
In a criminal complaint filed by the Iowa Falls Police Department, Simmons worked at Hansen Family Hospital in administration, and for a period of at least several months beginning last year into this year, she is alleged to have embezzled $22,500 from the facility.
Simmons is being held at the Hardin County Jail.
If convicted on both charges, she could be sentenced for up to 35 years in prison.
