The Ackley City Council recently discussed purchasing “Your Speed” feedback signs.
These signs are similar to the signs on Highway 57. The signs function on solar and batteries, with no internet required, and along with a 2 year warranty.
Three signs would cost 9-thousand dollars.
Some suggested locations to place the signs would be along 10th Avenue, Butler Street, and Franklin Street.
More discussion on the “Your Speed” signs will be held at the next Ackley City Council meeting.
