Saturday is the next nationwide prescription drug “Take-Back” Initiative that seeks to prevent increased pill abuse and theft.
Locations across the country will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction.
This free, anonymous service will help keep homes safe and could even save lives.
The “Take-Back” Initiative is Saturday from 10am-2pm.
Area locations include at the Franklin County Law Enforcement Center in Hampton and at the Waverly Police Department.
