The Iowa Department of Transportation is asking the public to share what they think about the proposed bridge replacement on Highway 175 over Munns Creek in Grundy County, or southeast of Grundy Center.

The existing bridge is over 100 years old and in need of replacement.

The bridge will be replaced with twin reinforced concrete box culverts.  Construction will take place starting in the spring of 2026 and be completed by the end of that year.

Traffic will be detoured during the construction work, using Highway 14 and county roads D-35 and T-53.

The Iowa DOT is asking for feedback by October 28th.  For more information, go to iowadot.gov.
