The city council in Clarksville this week approved a resolution concerning building permit fees.
An additional $50 will be included if construction begins prior to city council approval.
The Clarksville council reviewed a price increase from Jendro Sanitation of 3 percent for 2025, with the council members wanting to look at other options, as the contract with Jendro will be coming due in the first part of next year.
And the Clarksville City Council approved a renewal plan for employee health insurance with Wellmark.
Staying with the current Wellmark plan would cause the premiums to decrease by 16 percent.
