Drought conditions now reported across Iowa

The latest U-S Drought Monitor Report shows that the entire state of Iowa is now in some level of drought.

Almost 64 percent of the state is now in a moderate drought, while over 19 percent of Iowa is in a severe drought.

A majority of the broadcast area remains in a moderate drought, with southeastern Floyd and eastern Butler Counties in a severe drought.

Three months ago no drought conditions were reported in Iowa.
