Beginning Monday, RadioOnTheGo KLMJ/KQCR 99 The Wave will be adding new programming from the Iowa AgriBusiness Radio Network.

Andy Petersen is a senior farm broadcaster with the network, and tells RadioOnTheGo News that they work hard everyday to find out the latest in agriculture news.

“There are four of my counterparts as well, Dustin Hoffman, Mark Magnuson, Riley Smith, Russ Parker, all here from the state of Iowa. And we are out and about each and every day, not only keeping your fingers on the pulse of what’s happening from an Iowa agricultural perspective, from a marketing perspective, from a trade perspective, from a production perspective, but also visiting with key influencers within the industry as such are able to deliver some analysis and market insight that are very valuable.”

The new programs will include the markets and a program titled “Agribusiness Matters”.

“We’re the ones that are generating the copy. We’re the ones that are editing the audio. We’re the ones that are using our knowledge base, not only to write the story, but to check the story and make sure that it’s accurate. And we’re also the ones that are attending ongoing educational sessions, whether that be the field days that are put on, whether that be National Association of Farm Broadcasting Convention in Kansas City and Trade Talk, Farm Progress Show, so that we can keep ourselves on the cutting edge of what’s happening with Iowa agriculture as well.”
