Just before noon on Saturday the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department was called out on the report of a UTV rollover in a field in the 18-thousand block of 180th Street northeast of Rockwell.
16-year-old Caleb Desannoy of Rochester, Minnesota was operating a 2013 Polaris Ranger RZR when it rolled in a field.
Desannoy received serious injuries and was transported to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center by the Mason City Fire Department.
Assisting at the scene was Rockwell EMS.
